與雲門有約 劉振祥攝影展

還記得在雲門40週年時林老師對於雲門下一步的回答：歸零。回到舞蹈本身。

今年是雲門舞集45週年，是林老師退休前、鄭宗龍接棒，世代交替傳承的一年。

讓我們藉由與雲門合作長達30多年的御用攝影家劉振祥，也是臺灣記錄表演藝術發展的重要攝影師，

所拍下剎那間舞者的美、優雅、爆發力與瞬間的美好，回顧雲門過去10年年來的舞作。

陸府建設深耕於臺中成立至今近30年，為臺中藝術、文化的重要支持企業。

一場美麗的緣分，與雲門舞集的相遇於2008年，今年將是臺中包場演出第10年。

從每年的舞碼贊助、藝文推廣，並安排學校團體有機會帶學生一同參與欣賞演出，傳遞文化傳承藝術。 

透過本次與『雲門有約｜劉振祥攝影展』表達對雲門舞集以及臺灣所有藝術團體的敬重。

Five years ago when it was Cloud Gate Dance Theatre’s 40^th anniversary, founder of the group, Lin Hwai-Min expressed his expectation to the coming year of the group, to start afresh, back to dance itself. This year, it is Cloud Gate’s 45^th anniversary, and also the last year before Mr. Lin’s retirement.

The exhibition dedicated to Cloud Gate Dance Theatre through the photography of Taiwanese fine-art photographer, Liu Chen Hsiang who is important in documenting Taiwan’s performing arts and has also been working with Cloud Gate for over 30-years. Through Liu’s photographs, the exhibition represents the dance productions for the past 10 years that captured the grace, beauty, strength, and movements of the dancers.

Live Forever Construction Company, founded in Taichung in 1989, is one of the important sponsors of Cloud Gate and art scene in Taichung. The collaboration with Cloud Gate has been 10 years. Through this exhibition, we express our highly respect to all the artists, performers, dances and musician in Taiwan. 

藝術家  劉振祥

資深攝影工作者。20歲便舉辦首次個展，1987年開始拍攝紀錄表演藝術，並為電影拍攝劇照。多次舉辦個展及海內外聯展，作品獲美術館典藏。曾任職於媒體，後開設攝影工作室，孜孜於拍攝報導、表演藝術，長期與國內各表演團體合作。2010年獲「吳三連獎藝術獎—攝影類」獎項，評審肯定其攝影作品「見證臺灣社會與文化的時代變遷與脈動，並成功捕捉舞者瞬間美妙的舞姿動態。」

LIU CHEN HSIANG

Liu Chen Hsiang has the first solo exhibition at age of 20, started his career as professional photographer. He has documented live performances through photography and filmmaking since 1987. He has exhibited extensively in Taiwan and overseas, and his works is in several museums collection. Liu is the owner of a commercial photo studio, specializing in documenting performing art, and has also worked as a freelance journalist. He was awarded the 2010 Wu San Lien Prize Art Award-Photography category, which recognized his important artistic contributions as a Living Witness to the Social and Cultural Evolution of Taiwan.
